Welcome to La Flotte, a tastefully restored 18th century period manor house with gites set in 16 acres of private grounds located just a few miles from Royan.  We are in the heart of the micro climate of the Charente Maritime with 2,700 hours of sunshine a year and surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers.

Our property is located in a protected wildlife and wild flower reserve and the local countryside is ideal for cycling and walking.  The pretty village of Mortagne sur Gironde, complete with harbour and quayside cafes, is only a few minutes away.

La Flotte is perfect for families and couples alike, reflected in our range of gites.  Guests can wander freely around the estate and down to the lake and you're likely to quickly make friends with our horse and two small dogs who adore everyone.
